Lab life:
- I’ve just received the CNRS notification of the creation of the IRIS lab, with the number 9029. So the lab should be referred to UMR9029/U1353 from now on. The seminar dedicated to the directors of the newly created CNRS lab will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday at the CNRS headquarter in Paris 16th, and Irène will attend.
- The project IMAGINE in which IRIS is a partner (under Fanny’s leadership) has been submitted to the Inserm call: https://pro.inserm.fr/rubriques/appels-a-projets/strategie-decennale-cancer-2021-2030/apports-a-loncologie-des-mathematiques-et-de-linformatique-mic (see newletter n°1).
- 3 abstracts have been submitted to the SNMMI annual meeting (world meeting of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging) last Tuesday, by Eloïse, Charlotte, and the SNMMI AI task force Irène belongs to. The deadline has been extended to January the 13th. See https://snmmi.org/AM/Scientific-Program/Post_Abstracts.aspx?WebsiteKey=2ac95882-cb13-4b7d-aabc-6f7c0ef60252&_zs=5Dg2R1&_zl=5Aqw7
- After her successful PhD defense, Julie Auriac has been recruited as a Research Engineer (permanent position) in IRIS. We are very happy to have her stay with us and contribute to many projects involving radiomics and system medicine.
- Anis will finish his contract with us this Wednesday and we wish him the best for the future.
- An annual Paris meeting of the COALA consortium we are participating in will take place this Thursday: https://www.coala-lung.org/images/programme_final.pdf . The COALA network is a national research initiative aiming to improve outcomes for oncogene-driven lung cancer. Led by Toulouse University Hospital and supported by INCa, it brings together 15 teams across 6 innovative research areas over 5 years. This network will hopefully allow us to perform some external validation of the clinic-radiomic signatures that have been developed as part of the Precision Predict project funded by the Health Data Hub.
- For Human Resources related matter, please contact Morgane Jaunay (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) from now on. The appropriate contacts for orders and missions will follow as soon as Stéphane Lacroix gives me the information, while a new administrative manager fully dedicated to our lab is supposed to start in April.
